Moving the spirit
I was born with the passion to create and move: diving into my feelings, sensitivity, my dreams and visions, questions about life, us humans… and expressing this journey in whatever creativity offers me. This goes from dancing to writing, expression of my voice and creating films and performances.
My last big project was the short movie “MeUnited” (released in January 2020) , where I (together with a great team) brought my personal story through dance, music and visual poetry to life. I love to collaborate with other artists, letting myself guide through my intuition and improvisation skills. It is important for me to create something people can easily relate to – and make them (in some way) part of my experience.
For me art always has to have a healing dimension. Based on my practice of dance therapy, for me, a big part in making art is to allow what is there in the present moment, stay authentic, stretch myself to new places, explore my own freedom and flow (with all it’s colors), give myself completely over to the art, commit to “what feels good/true” and create in a free state of mind. In that sense the process is already a healing one. And eventually the end product as well.
